I have three daughters now!

I thought for a long time about having another baby, and put off a decision for a long time; then my Elenka solved the problem - by getting a kitten for her birthday! Ivan the Kitten unfortunately went chasing our mice friends Nikita and Nadia, so Elenka got mad and turned Ivan into an almost-human catgirl who is afraid of mice. We renamed her Ivanka, and Elenka likes her even better than she ever liked that male kitten, so we've adopted her. She took to being a girl very nicely - she's even fallen in love! - with AngelQueenofIceRoses's Roberto, who at fourteen is big enough to think he's a man. With Shirley's help, we've allowed Ivanka to become a teenager on weekends (she's normally eight, now going on nine) and neither Alyosha nor I are restrictive about her activity with him. Elenka wanted to be a teenager too, so we have allowed that - and she now has a boyfriend too, Alan.
Now I have a third daughter! Tom the Mouse Clicker rescued Isabella, the Little Match Girl, from her terrible life in the slums of nineteenth-century Copenhagen (does modern Copenhagen even have slums?) and she needed a home in Chronophontia. So I was happy to adopt her too. She gets along wonderfully with her new big sisters Elenka and Ivanka. (She's only seven.) isabelle197, will it be OK if we call her Izka?

But not for long! I would like very much to give our dear Elenka a little sister or brother, and my Alyosha loves being a daddy, so he won't mind. I just have a feeling that Tom 
, our Mouse Clicker, is not quite comfortable with the idea yet.
Of course I don't need his "permission". Last time, after I had posed for "Madonna and Child" fav.me/d15ul1o , I so wanted a baby of my own! But poor Tom was reluctant. Finally, in July 2009, I simply got pregnant and announced the fait accompli to Tom. He accepted quite gracefully! I think that if I have to do that again, he will be graceful again, but I would really like him to be comfortable with it in advance, and I just don't think he is yet.
So I'm going to wait - not for long, I hope! After a few months, if Tom doesn't come around, I will go ahead as I did before.

Elena Alexeievna is TWO today! But don't worry, we'll have an even bigger celebration on her name day, May 18.

She sure is. But she does have one favorite word: NYET.Oh, dear people, PLEASE don't listen to him. He must have been taking lessons from Euthanasia the Vampire. I wouldn't be surprised to hear such things from HER.
Nope, no lessons. It just shows that he's starting to have the right attitude. Your daughter too.Now don't you start giving her ideas!
