But not for long!  I would like very much to give our dear Elenka a little sister or brother, and my Alyosha loves being a daddy, so he won't mind.  I just have a feeling that Tom , our Mouse Clicker, is not quite comfortable with the idea yet.  

Of course I don't need his "permission".  Last time, after I had posed for "Madonna and Child" [link] , I so wanted a baby of my own!  But poor Tom was reluctant.  Finally, in July 2009, I simply got pregnant and announced the fait accompli to Tom.  He accepted quite gracefully!  I think that if I have to do that again, he will be graceful again, but I would really like him to be comfortable with it in advance, and I just don't think he is yet.

So I'm going to wait - not for long, I hope!  After a few months, if Tom doesn't come around, I will go ahead as I did before.
